  • Easily create a convenient watering system for trees, shrubs and perennial gardens
  • Makes up to 10 watering zones

Apply water just where you want it — and not where you don't. With the Snip-n-Drip Landscape Soaker System you can easily create a convenient watering system for hedges, trees, shrubs and other landscape plantings. No special tools required — just use scissors to cut the hoses to the sizes you need. Snap the fittings in place and you're ready to water. The weeping action of soaker hoses delivers water right to the roots, with minimal loss due to evaporation and runoff. I have used a similar kit from Nelson for a few years, but these from Gardener's Supply are better. I just installed my first and like the versatility. The connection components for the faucet end and cap are handy in creating a layout that will fit any garden. It's also easy to reconfigure. I set up separate watering lines for individual gardens with quick connectors at one end hidden under a plant at a convenient location. Then I keep a water timer with a quick connect on the end of my hose most all the time. When I notice a garden needs water, I simply hook the hose up and set the timer for twenty minutes or so to give it a deep watering.

Liked this system enough that I just ordered two more kits.

I LOVE the Snip'n'Drip system. I have purchased THREE of them to water ALL of my outside plants. I live in Phoenix where the summer sun wrecks havoc on growing plants. These systems will allow me to water all my plants quickly, evenly and with little effort. I do find that the plantings at the end of the system do not get as much water as those closest to the beginning. But with some tweaking,so far it is working for me.

I have 35 1/2 drum planters and 14 4x6 raised beds. After a test I can see that a small piece of soaker hose will work well in the drums, a larger in the beds. So the kit (2) should go a long way. The price on this was in line. The hose connector leaked badly though.

          Raccoons Like the Taste

The drip system worked great all summer until raccoons came through the yard one night, tore apart the system and chewed up the drip hose. It was raining that night so surprising that they might have been after the water inside the hose. Could there be something in the drip hose composition that raccoons found attractive?

used this for a large cumbersome to water garden
Does not work well off of my rain barrels as there is not enough pressure...BUT works fine across a long run on house water ...I even ran some sections under a path without affecting the flow at all.
A SMALL complaint is that it went on sale shorty after I purchased it...

                          Great for landscape plants.
                          Very easy to use.
Non-watered stretches between plants keeps weeds at a minimum.
Needs improvement: small size of hoses can make connecting to 3/4" regular hoses an issue sometimes.
