Almost bought one of these as a gift for my son's friend, and very glad I didn't. The packaging/presentation was very cheesy. I would not have given it as a gift. Was only worth the half-off price I paid. The grasses did sprout very quickly and have been growing well, and the ladybug face is quite cute. Good for little ones

I bought this for my 5 year old son who loves to help out in the garden. He loved watching the "hair" grow, and has a great time making new hairstyles with rubber bands and scissors.

I bought this for my 3 year old niece because she loves lady bugs. Since it was for a little kid, I was really hoping it would work and at least a little bit of "hair" would grow. Well, that thing started sprouting within a few days. My niece absolutely loves it and has named it "Fuzz Buzz." She cuts it's hair and makes sure it has water every day. This is a fabulous gift! In fact, I may buy one for myself! Love it!
