They are ineffectual, the lights aren't very bright and there isn't enough magnification to help. They don't fit over prescription glasses, which might make them more useful.

I have tried a lot of different styles of book lights to use when I read in bed at night. Most were hard to hold in place, not bright enough, too big, too small. I could not wait to receive these and try them. Mine have no magnification. My husband loves them! They are not too bright for him to be able to go to sleep while I enjoy reading my book before going to sleep.

These glasses work fine for illuminating serial numbers on equipment, helping to unscrew a small item w/ jeweler's screw drivers, etc. Magnifying visors are better, but mo clunky, not as easy to use in a pinch.

I had some problem with one of the lens' on/ff switches.

I ordered a pair for myself and my husband liked them so much I had to order a seperate pair for him. You can use the glasses with or without the light or less light by lighting just one side of the glasses. PERFECT for late night bed reading without disturbing your spouse or just to add some additional light in low lit room.

I absolutely love these lighted magnifying glasses. It is so much easier to read in low light, and makes computer usage so much easier. For those of us with Presbyopia - this is GREAT!! Highly reccommend !!

i read a lot in the car after dark when taking our Grandkids home, and I love to read in bed. All the lights that I have either keep my Husband up or get in his eyes when he is driving. I LOVE THEM

I use these readers nearly every night and they are truly a Godsend!! They have finally ended years of arguments about when to turn out the lights. Now, my husband goes to sleep while I read in peace!! I bought two more pairs for my sisters!
