Harvest Lots of Potatoes Without Digging or Hilling

Potato Grow Bags make sowing, growing and harvesting potatoes easy— there’s no need to till beds or hill up soil around the plants. Harvesting the potatoes is a snap, too — instead of digging you just dump out the soil and there they are! Like our other Grow Bags, these are made from a porous fabric that prevents heat build-up and allows excess water to drain.

  • Patented two-layer, BPA-free polypropylene fabric
  • 25" in diameter x 14" H
  • Holds 100 quarts of container mix
  • Bags can usually be re-used a second year
  • Bags fold for easy storage

Comments about Colorful Jumbo Potato Grow Bag:

I planted carrots in one of these bags and we've had three hailstorms already and every time I've moved them under my porch, the soil breaks up. Be careful if you have to move them, the soil will break potentially killing any progress you've made. The bags work wonderfully for potatoes though, and pretty much any other root vegetables! Definitely recommend!

I had a great crop of potatoes last year!
Bought 6 more large bags to double my crop this year! My first 6 are bright blue, but this year only available in black or tan ( boring!!!)

Comments about Colorful Jumbo Potato Grow Bag:

These Jumbo potato grow bags are useful for more than potatoes. In addition to potatoes, I use these bags for peas (bush type) and other vegetables. They are pretty handy to have if you don't want the semi-permanance of raised beds. I use them in my driveway (we have poor root-bound soil) as well as in the back garden I've just made this year- I put black plastic covering down on bare dirt and use these bags on top. I've been gardening with potato bags for several years now - every year I add more bags to my colection, The first ones I bought over 5 years ago are still going strong.

Our potatoes have just started to come up so I am in the wait and see mode. Really easy to set up, seems to be strong and I hope it lasts more than one season.

Comments about Colorful Jumbo Potato Grow Bag:

We live right on the face of the sun here in California's Central Valley. So plastic planters end up cooking roots by August. Bought the potato bag to grow my Habanero peppers. It's the perfect size for them and will keep the roots from getting too hot. I anticipate peppers all the way through Thanksgiving. GREAT PRODUCT

Comments about Colorful Jumbo Potato Grow Bag:

I love the light weight and they seem pretty sturdy. But I think they are too short -- based on the height of potato plants I've grown in the past these need to be at least 6 inches taller, and probably 12 inches would increase yield even more. But, it's too early too tell.

Comments about Colorful Jumbo Potato Grow Bag:

Use for what is advertised. Growing potatoes. They were easy to handle except something should be designed to help keep them opened. They like to close due to wind and have to keep moving them because of rain keeping the bottom too soggy. Next year we will have to set on ventilated platforms and recently bought stakes to keep them opened. Handles for moving them around would be nice. Despite the weather (raining) the potatoes are starting to sprout. Would like to see a better design, i.e. handles and something that could be inserted to keep the bags opened, especially since potatoes need to be grown layering. If the bag was filled no problem but that is not how one plants potatoes. Thank you
