Comments about Colorful Jumbo Potato Grow Bag:
I had some organic potatoes sprouting to the point of leaf nodes,so I decided to try growing those.
It is only mid June,so have not yet harvested my potatoes, but the bags made it easy to add soil as the plants grow.I am now at the top of the bag,the plants look lush and pretty(next year, potato bags in my front yard!)and I can't wait to have my 2 1/2 year old twin grandsons help me dig for treasure when harvest time arrives!

Comments about Colorful Jumbo Potato Grow Bag:
My folks raved about how fantastic this product was to the point that I just had to try it. The cost was reasonable, so I ordered two. Set up and use is a breeze. Now I just have to wait for the fruits, or potatoes, of my labor.

Comments about Colorful Jumbo Potato Grow Bag:
I have raised beds, and hilling soil isn't an option. This product is elegant in it's simplicity. I thought I'd need two sets of hands; not so. The fabric is thick, and even though they arrive folded flat, they stood up on their own for easy filling and set up. The instructions are simple. It's a good product, and if I don't have potatoes at the end of this season, it's my pale green thumb, and not Gardener's Supply Company!

Comments about Colorful Jumbo Potato Grow Bag:
These potato grow bags make it so easy to harvest the potatoes! When the potatoes are ready you just dump out the soil and feel around for your potatoes, no need for digging or damage to the potatoes. We are trying a straw growing method this year that should make it even easier to harvest new potatoes. The only con is that the bag gets heavy with all the dirt in it.

Comments about Colorful Jumbo Potato Grow Bag:
This is my second year for growing fingerling potatoes in the large grow bags. Last year, I had 2 bags, this year three. The bags did a great job of growing a good crop of healthy potatoes. They keep the bugs and critters out of my potatoes.

Comments about Colorful Jumbo Potato Grow Bag:
I planted carrots in one of these bags and we've had three hailstorms already and every time I've moved them under my porch, the soil breaks up. Be careful if you have to move them, the soil will break potentially killing any progress you've made. The bags work wonderfully for potatoes though, and pretty much any other root vegetables! Definitely recommend!

Comments about Colorful Jumbo Potato Grow Bag:
I had a great crop of potatoes last year!
Bought 6 more large bags to double my crop this year! My first 6 are bright blue, but this year only available in black or tan ( boring!!!)

Comments about Colorful Jumbo Potato Grow Bag:
These Jumbo potato grow bags are useful for more than potatoes. In addition to potatoes, I use these bags for peas (bush type) and other vegetables. They are pretty handy to have if you don't want the semi-permanance of raised beds. I use them in my driveway (we have poor root-bound soil) as well as in the back garden I've just made this year- I put black plastic covering down on bare dirt and use these bags on top. I've been gardening with potato bags for several years now - every year I add more bags to my colection, The first ones I bought over 5 years ago are still going strong.
