Customer Service Lead
Join the team at our garden center in Burlington. As the CS Lead, you will supervise the hard goods selling space, the customer service team and ensure that all customers are engaged and receive the best service possible. The ideal candidate has the following qualifications:
- At least two years of experience in customer service
- Advanced gardening/horticultural knowledge
- Experience supervising a team, individual or tasks
- Basic knowledge of gardening products
Must must be available to work weekends. In addition, the ideal candidate has strong communication skills and the ability to stay organized, focused and calm in a fast-paced environment.
Director of Inventory Management
Lead all inventory management functions, including product forecasting, materials planning and supply chain management. This position aims to achieve a high fill rate while delivering inventory ownership and turn-rate objectives. The ideal candidate has a BA in business and six to nine years (or more) of experience in purchasing and inventory management.
Play a central role on our merchandising team. We seek an experienced merchant/product developer to lead product category strategies, develop innovative products and multi-channel merchandising to maximize sales and profits. You will develop, cultivate and manage strategic vendor relationships to ensure that Gardener's Supply achieves an exclusive edge in the marketplace.
The ideal candidate has five to seven years of experience in product development, buying or related merchandising experience, with expertise in sourcing product lines and demonstrated negotiation skills. Not essential but preferred: Experience in multi-channel, direct-to-consumer merchandising and gardening knowledge.
Product Quality Assurance Manager
Join our merchandising team and to develop, manage and implement a program to ensure production and delivery of high-quality products. Work with vendors, agents, factory and government agencies; establish and maintain product performance standards and ensure vendor compliance. Qualifications include:
- A strong background in quality assurance and quality control
- Strong analytical, organizational and negotiation skills
- Excellent computer skills
- At least an intermediate level of knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word and Access.
