Causes We Believe In
We're on a mission to improve the world through gardening. We stand up for our beliefs, give voice to those who can't, and serve as an ally to gardeners everywhere.

Pollinator Protection
Most people recognize that bees are important pollinators. Many species of butterflies, bats, birds, moths, flies (and even some mammals!) are also pollinators. They're so essential to plant reproduction that the world as we know it couldn't exist without them.
Youth Gardens
Today's kids are tomorrow's leaders. Through gardening they learn compassion for the planet and one another, adopt healthy eating practices, understand the value of science, and learn critical skills like patience and responsibility.

Soil Regeneration
Building healthy soil is good for our gardens and an effective way to combat climate change. From kitchen gardens and small-scale farms, all the way to big agriculture, the quality of our soil is directly related to our survival. And with the right tools, it's easy to do.

Fighting Hunger
We believe that access to healthy, fresh food is a human right. And as a community of gardeners, we could feed 28 million hungry Americans just by donating our extra produce.
