We live in the Sonoran Desert and occasionally get rain. I ordered this rain gauge and it arrived the day AFTER we received four straight days of rain!! Oh well, it'll rain again someday. We love the way it looks. Functional yard art -- very cool!!

The rain gauge is beautiful in our garden. The glass vial for rain collection is very fragile but replacements are easily ordered if broken.

I gave this to my sister who is a Master Gardner and she loved it. She has yard art all over her yard and this adds a purpose with an artful look. My hope is that the Jefferson Rain Guage will last many winters, springs, summers, and falls, and will age gracefully and beautifully and still provide its purpose.
