I bought these to control my jasmine which is growing by leaps and bounds. I didn't want to cut it back and lose all those fragrant flowers - these spiral stakes hold back the vines nicely and are attractive while doing so.

bought these and 3 ring stems which work better for lower cost. You have to screw in the bottom support but it does not fit well. did not offer the same support for tall lillys as the lighter, 3 ring stems
