I purchased an extra sensor. I placed one in the attic and one in the backyard gazebo away from direct sunlight. I am very pleased with this weather station and would highly recommend this to anyone, particularly a gardener, who needs to keep tabs on the weather.

The weather station works great! The recordings are in line with all weather reports for our area. The features are useful (eg.- min/max temps, humidity in and our, weather alarms). The only limit is the satellite signal (not in all rooms). Overall, I am extremely satisfied and plan on buying more remote devices to monitor the attic and garage.

We set it up in our kitchen so I can read the temperature before I had out for my morning walk. The radio station does not always give the temp at 5:30 A.M. so I would have to go outside before I knew how many layers to put on and whether or not I needed a mask. I wish we would have bought this years ago!

So far I like this product which was easy to set up and is easy to use. My only hesitation is that I previously had a weather station from this same manufacturer (a much less expensive one) and after a while it became difficult to operate and eventually stopped working altogether. But so far, this one is great, especially when I can see how frigid it is outside while I am cosy inside.

Purchased this item plus one extra remote sensor for my dad in central Nebraska for Christmas, and he likes it. Giving 4 of 5 stars only because it cannot gauge wind speed. I would have purchased one for myself if it hadn't become unavailable, because I like the sleek design and the fact that it's wireless.
