Pros
- Beautiful Material
- Easy To Hang
- Great Color
- Quality Construction
Cons
- None
Best Uses
- Bedroom
Curtains were purchased to keep a draft from coming in a bedroom window which is right above our head. Neeeded the shorter length rather than floor length which has been difficult to find. Shortened the curtains even further by sewing 2" down from the top of each tab which made a more decorative top to the curtain. The fabric is nice and heavy but irons very nicely with a steam iron and hangs beautifully. Ordered the Sage color and am very pleased with the shade. Would definitely recommend these curtains.
Pros
- Attractive Design
- Beautiful Material
- Blocks Out Light
- Easy To Hang
- Great Color
- Insulates against noise
- Quality Construction
Cons
Best Uses
- Bedroom
- Privacy
I bought two sets of these 84" long curtains on sale for a guest room which is on the east side of my house. They keep the room cool and quiet, especially in the mornings. I had to hang them a little bit above some bamboo shades, so I created more length with a 14" wide strip of Indian-inspired fabric across the bottoms. They looked so good I added a 12" strip of the same fabric across the tops, just below the tabs. Now they look like designer drapes!
I love these drapes in the brown color. They really do a great job blocking the morning sunlight! The brown color is a nice brown, very rich looking. I had also ordered the khaki color and they were lighter weight and didn't block the sun at all. I guess it's just about what you're looking for them to do.
Pros
- Attractive
- Great workmanship
- Insulates well
Cons
Best Uses
- Extra large windows
- PATIO DOOR
I bought this for our patio door, it's very
attractive, well made and insulates better than
any I've purchased before. Would highly recommend it, keep in mind it's heavy so you may
need help with the original installation or hanging.
Pros
- Heavy Weight
- I love the teracota color
Cons
- White not the best color
Best Uses
- Keeping room warmer
i hung terra cotta ones in one room and really like them. they add color and warmth.
The white ones are in another room, and unfortunately the windows behind must be slightly tinted green so when the curtains are closed the room gets kind of a sickly green tint. But it is still warmer.
Pros
- And is so much cooler
- Blocks sunlight and heat
- Room faces south
- So happy we purchased
- With these curtains
Cons
Best Uses
- TV viewing
- Use to block sunlight for
We have these curtains hanging in our tv room, which faces south. We have two large windows, side by side and a sliding glass door. I purchased two sets of the sliding glass door size curtains to hang and they fit great! We are saving so much energy and $$ now cooling this room.
Pros
- Attractive
- Energy efficient
- Great Value
Cons
- More colors needed
Best Uses
- Perfect for sunny rooms
I purchased these for our beach house which gets lots of sun and wear during the summer season. I noticed an immediate reduction in heat from the windows when I put these up.
They were easy to put up and looked great out of the package!
I would like to see more colors offered.
Pros
- Blocks heat in summer
- Color is perfect shade
- Insulates us in winter
- Quality material
Cons
- Had to iron out wrinkles
Best Uses
- House cooler in summer
- Reduces heating bill
- South and west windows
I have MS and cannot tolerate the heat. We are hoping your insulated curtains will keep our home cool enough to avoid installing energy-guzzling AC. They will also reduce fading and save on our heating bills. Thank you.
The curtains have pieces of dark colored lint (dark dark brown) in-between the fabric and the lining. Since the curtains are the "Natural" color these dark pieces show up and look terrible especially when the sun shines through the window. I am now going to have to go to the extra expense and time to have the lint removed. I will never order again. Really disappointed in the product. Definitely not worth price I paid for them. Only good thing is they do block heat coming in window.
Pros
- Cuts off the draft
- Great price
- Great quality
- Not bulky
Cons
- Pleats would look better
- Tab Curtains vs Pleats
Best Uses
Bought it during the blizzardS of 2010. Came in time for the second of three. Glad I bought it.
I FIGURE I WILL GET IT PAYBACK ON MY ELECTRIC BILL
