Instructions for the Flying Pig

Assembly

Insert the Flying Pig’s wings into the open slots provided on each side of the pig, making sure the wings taper toward the back. Note that the wings are not interchangable.

Remove the protective rubber from the bottom of each stake before installing the pig in the ground.

Care

The Flying Pig is made by hand, so each one is unique. Irregularities are not thought of as flaws.

If left to oxidize naturally, the steel will take on a rusty patina. To help retain the existing finish, apply a clear, exterior-grade, polyurethane sealant. Make sure it is dry before exposing the pig to moisture or sunlight. A new coat of polyurethane should be applied before the original coat deteriorates, about once a year.
