Granite Solar Pillar

This solar light is powered by two lifetime LED bulbs that illuminate all night. The eight-pound Granite Pillar stays put and protects the solar components from damage.

The natural color of granite blends with almost any environment so you can use one or more Pillars to mark an entryway or place them in the garden or on a deck. No mounting or assembly is required.

Solar Light Charging and Operation

1. Be sure to place the Granite Solar Pillar in a location that receives at least 6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight each day and away from trees or shrubs that could cast a shadow onto the solar panel. Keep in mind the sun’s changing position in the sky throughout the year.

2. The solar module consists of a clear plastic cup-shaped base, and a black plastic cover. The top of the black plastic cover is the solar panel, and also has a photocell sensor which turns the light on/off automatically.

3. Two 1.2 V Ni-Cd rechargeable batteries are provided and should arrive fully charged, with a protective plastic strip on the batteries. To active the light, you will need to open the solar module and remove this plastic strip. The battery compartment is located on the underside of the black plastic cover. To open the module, lift the tab on the side of the cover and pull the cover off of the clear plastic base. Pull the plastic strip off of the batteries and snap the cover back on to the clear plastic base. Insert the solar module into the granite pillar with the solar panel facing upwards.
