I have been using these for about 5 years now. I started with the individually cut mats and now buy the large roll. I love that you can cut them to whatever size you need.
The best thing is that you can have beautiful flowers in direct sun and not worry about having to water them every day! Love, love, love this product!

I have a solarium containing a large plant collection which I use to enhance my outdoor garden in the summer. The combination of Hydro-mats, teracotta plant cones, and a drip irrigation system have decreased watering time to a minimum. I have the mats lining trays holding my fern collection. They thrive all winter in the humid environment the mats provide.

I use these along with the self-watering hanging basket. My Million Bells are flourishing and I DON'T have to water them every day. I was watering them twice a day and they were still wilting every day. Whatever I put in that basket died within months. Now my plants are amazing, full and gorgeous! This will save me a ton of money -- it will keep me from buying new plants for the baskets four times a year!
