I am not sure it will be able to withstand a strong breeze, but I will try it in a protected area of the garden. My granddaughter is enchanted with the flowers up and down the post. I am so pleased with the quality.

I received both the table top model and the one on a stake as gifts and while they are pretty enough, I would not recommend them for outdoor use as they blow off the bases very easily. Both of mine have been assigned positions in my Florida room.

Hummingbird Rocker is such a wonderful addition to my flower garden. Everyone comments on how beautiful it looks. I have also seen one Hummer looking at the flower. It sways so gently in the breeze. However, I do not recommend to be left out in high winds or storms. I take mine in for safety sake. I am giving this to my friend who loves Hummingbirds.

The catalog illustration is somewhat misleading and I didn't pay enough attention to the product description. When the product arrived, I was surprised by its size (larger than anticipated) while the anchoring base seemed undersized. The "folk art" appearance also seemed childish and somewhat amateurish. I was disappointed in the product but had effectively dismantled the shipping container so I did not attempt to return the item. It has been delegated to the "recycling" bin.

I too love Hummingbirds & don't also get as many live ones as I want so this helps pacify me. I feel the cradle it rocks on could have been better designed to keep it there when wind is blowing because really strong winds cause it to fall, maybe use a shallow cup design. I have no problem with the support as has stayed where I put it.
