I purchased two of these and used them to apply both beneficial nematodes and compost tea. It is very basic with no other control function besides the on-off switch. A rate flow adjuster would be nice, for example, as the sprayer dispenses product at a rapid rate. I made do by making small adjustments with the on-off switch, never opening up the flow beyond one-half of its capacity when spraying the product, and opening it up when the product in the container was finished so as to thoroughly saturate the soil for my purposes.

The hose-end sprayer works well for all kinds of garden or yard applications! Any home with lawn and garden would do well to own one for every product they apply to lawn and garden! Separate products having their own sprayers will provide ease of use, measuring of product, and safe application method for the gardener. Having more than one prevents cross-contamination of products, and eliminates exposure to the user who might be tempted to "wash for another use". Have a couple on hand for dedicated use and watch the benefit to lawn and garden!

seems to work as it should, but for the price i would like to see some rubber gaskets installed. I took mine apart and made 3 rubber gaskets to fit the lid, the top, and the garden hose-end to seal the leaks. I've never bought a garden hose accessory that didn't, at least, have a gasket on the hose end.

I was tightening the canister on the hose and the plastic collar broke. It was little pressure so I was surprised at how easily it cracked.

I used the sprayer to apply my nematode mixture, the only downside was water bubbled out the top as I sprayed and was somewhat messy. I had a hard time knowing when to put more concentrate into the sprayer, as it was almost clear to start with. But it was an easy way to cover a large area quickly.
