Comments about Holiday Bulb Dog Toy:

A tough toy for any "normal" dog. My dog, however, didn't want to bother working to get the treats out by shaking or rolling the bulb around. He just chewed off the plug part of the bulb. Well, at least he had fun!

Probably better for a dog smaller than a Golden Retriever.

I plan on giving this to my Australian heeler puppy this Christmas and I am sure she will love it as she loves this type of toy and the textures. It is very bright, small but not too small and will be easy for her to carry around.

Comments about Holiday Bulb Dog Toy:

I bought one of these for a friend's cocker spaniel as a Christmas gift. She took to it right away but lost interest quickly (too heavy for her?) We put some kibble in it to renew her interest and as soon as she got the treats out she left it to pursue other curiosities. Her owner has told me she hasn't shown much interest at home either - may pick it up and carry a little way then leaves it. She is an extremely playful dog; this didn't seem to fit her bill of goods. My cocker (male) wasn't interested at all. This item is pretty pricey to just throw in the toy basket and have it sit there. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone that isn't very sure their dog would use it.

Comments about Holiday Bulb Dog Toy:

Our now full-grown Lab had so much fun with this, but in the end, she chewed it into a gazillion pieces. She would "bounce" in the direction we would throw it and then bounce it on her own. She loved looking for the treat inside, which is probably why she chewed it into a gazillion pieces

didn't realize the size of this product. It was brightly colored and bounced when thrown. There is a hole in the end allowing you to hide an item inside to add to the mystery.

The dog loves this toy. When you throw it,it bounces all over the place and keeps the dog busy for quite a while. When he was teething, he chewed on it a lot and it seemed to help.

our then 3 month old Lab demolished the toy in no time flat. She was thrilled, we were left with little bits of red ornament all over the house. It saved the lives of many shoes!

This novelty Christmas light bulb for dog treats was supposed to be durable. My dog had the neck off the bulb in less than 10 minutes. I was very disappointed.
