Comments about Herb Scissors:
I grow fresh herbs, particularly basil, every year. We love fresh basil on tomatoes and mozzarella salad. In the past, I've done the trick of rolling up the leaves and slicing strips. While that works, the basil always comes out bruised and the roll tries to unroll as I cut. Have had a few close calls with the knife, trying to get thin strips.
The scissors are so easy to use, sharp and so easy to clean. The cover has slots to run through the scissors and make sure no basil clings to the blades. Best of all, I get my thin slices without fear of a knife slip and no bruising of the herbs.

Comments about Herb Scissors:
This little 'sleeper' gem was a recent purchase. Assuming that it would be in a yard sale soon, I didn't give it much hope. Boy! Was I ever happily surprised! These are one of the greatest cutting implements I've ever seen for herbs... so much better than the Microplane Herb chopper & at $10 less. A must buy for anyone who enjoys cooking with fresh herbs.

Best Uses
Comments about Herb Scissors:
i use these scissors on herbs straight from my garden. If herbs are damp from washing, they stick to the blades. The blade cleaning device doesn't remove all the herbs, so I either waste herbs or spend more time cleaning blades. Letting herbs dry after washing helps a bit.
