Comments about Deer Fences:
I use this fence above a woven wire fence. It has kept the deer out of my garden for three years. I do not take the fence down for the winter. I've had one place where a deer actualy broke the fence in three years. This product is very good for protecting my garden. I would highly recommend this product. I used approximately 400' of this fence around the garden.

Comments about Deer Fences:
I bought this product to extend the height of my fence in my back yard to help keep my chickens in thier chicken yard,my fence is now 8 feet tall, the chickens can no longer jump/fly over it,im also hoping it will keep the coyotes from getting into the area(its pretty hard to jump over 8 feet)it is also easy on the eyes, my neighbor didnt even notice the exstra fencing it blends in with the back ground perfectly. we had no problems putting it up,light weight and pretty tough material.

Comments about Deer Fences:
I have a year around problem with deer. I use this material to block the deer on the driveway and along a neighbors fence. So far it has kept the deer out.
It is too bad that Gardeners' doesn't provide a pole to match the 7 foot height.

Comments about Deer Fences:
I purchased this fencing material to use as a dog safety fence on a 6th floor balcony. It was not heavy enough for my liking, I returned the product and purchased the heavier material also from Gardener.
Comments about Deer Fences:
The product 34-445 is NOT the heavy duty fencing I have used successfully previously. I ordered this and was disappointed. What does work well is the 8' tall product with 1-3/4 x 2" mesh size. Much, much sturdier. I finally found it at [@]

Comments about Deer Fences:
This product works well as a medium strength barrier - if you are looking for a fence deer can ram into over and over again you need to move up a grade-but for protection for individual trees or bushes it works very well

Comments about Deer Fences:
SQUIRRELS - "The yearly battle" over my tomatoes.... I think the deer fencing is going to be the answer to my sanity. This year I built bamboo Tepee-type-frames over my raised beds. I've drapped the deer fencing over the frames and used small nails in the frame boards to hold the netting in place. So Far So Good, no Squirrels and lots of tomatoes (minus teeth marks). It's easy to pull the fencing back to fertilize, weed or harvest and then re-hook the netting. The netting seems to be sturdy enough to leave it up through the winter. I'm very pleased.
