Use this thermostat with your Heat Mat to maintain just the right temperature for the seeds you're starting or the cuttings you're rooting. Plug it in, insert the probe into the soil and set the dial to the desired temperature. The thermostat will turn the mat on and off so soil temperature remains constant. Temperature setting ranges from 68 F to 108 F. (Note: Heat mats have a more limited temperature range.)

This worked great in January 2011. It worked a few days in 2012 and will not give power to the heat mats so the temperature can not be regulated. The warranty is good for one year and I had had it 14 months. I trash canned it.
