I was given as a gift for my OA hands. My 93 year old mother was scratching her face at night during OCD behaviors. Wearing the mittens with mild heat stopped that repetitive action. Unfortunately, they are no longer available to purchase online or found elsewhere. I want to keep my gift, but I would also like to purchase another pair for my mother's caregiver to use under supervision with and without heat.

I just bought my second pair of Happy Mitts to give to a friend who was recently diagnosed with the same hand problem I have had--basal thumb joint arthritis. My Happy Mitts provide comforting relief when cold weather brings on a flare-up of this common arthritic condition. Sometimes I nuke one and wear it to bed. Cozy! You might need to experiment with your microwave to get the right time so your Happy Mitts won't be too hot to be comfortable. I have the neck wrap and booties too. Nice!
