Our front porch is very shady and dark; it's difficult to grow flowers. This added some color. I hung it undercover but it is exposed to weather, so I gave it a few coats of sealer. Looks good.

I was so excited to get this but when I opened the box it was a lot darker than in the catalog. The strings are a day glow yellow too which does not contrast well with the much darker maroon/fuschia of the top flower. It's still an okay wind chime, I just thought it was much brighter and would match the other bright wind chimes I already own.

I have mine hanging just outside my granddaughter's bamboo playhouse in the garden.
I like the colorful and delicate look of the bell shapes and the artistic balance between large and small bells and beads.
I sprayed a varnish over all the bells to try to make them more hardy to the elements.
They are very decorative and I would like them even better if they were more musical sounding.

the chimes are beautiful. People always comment on how pretty they are. But despite being in the windiest area with all other chimes ringing like crazy, this one just barely moves and makes no sound. So, it's more art than chime.
