We loved the fact that the screen was self closing. Down side was the tension rod was not strong enough and during a lot of use,(ie a party)the screen came down a couple of times. Read the review about using a shower curtain rod instead and will get one for next years use. Our cat used it all summer and now is upset because the old screen is up and she can't come in and out.

We had a huge gathering at our house for a party and did not want to have people use the retractable french door screens, plus we did not have a screen for our front door. The Hands-free Bug Screens for our french doors and for our front door-worked as great temporary screens for bugs and insects and allowed people to go in and out. Our friends were impressed with the product too. Thank you.

I would have rated this 5 stars, but it could use a few more velcro adhesive pads on the sides. I'm going to pick some up and add them, but other than that, this screening has been TERRIFIC!! I have 4 small dogs and now I don't have to lose my mind all day, letting them in and out. They can go through the screen and it closes behind them and no bugs get in!! GREAT solution for screens on my french doors.

This hands free bug screen is perfect, the cost of a custom door would be cost prohibitive. I plan at a later date to put one on the back of the cabin when landscaping is finished. This front screen makes for incredible enjoyment of my front deck. I could not be happier.

I bought these several years ago for my young kids who kept walking into the regular screen doors. We've had them up for about 5 years now, and still use them. The only recommendation I would make is to go buy a thicker shower curtain pole, as the poles that they come with are too flimsy and fall down a lot. With the thicker shower curtain pole it never falls down.

Easy to install, simple directions. My dog pulled the velcro off the frame the first week we had it up - less tension there than at the magnet. It does its job but seems pretty simple for the price.

This great only reason why I didn't give it a 5 star is because there needs to be at lest one or two more magnet strips but other then that it's great our 2 y/o loves that he can push this screen door open :)
