Japanese beetles are just about the worst pest your garden can have. As adults, they ravage your flowers and vegetables. As young grubs they devour your lawn's root system, and they attract skunks and moles. Grub Guard beneficial nematodes are naturally occurring microorganisms that live in the soil, feeding on Japanese beetle grubs. Unlike chemical controls, they won't harm earthworms or most beneficial insects, and they are safe around pets.

Comments about Grub Guard:
Unfortunately I found that the Grub Guard isn't always effective. It doesn't work on different stages of wireworm grub growth. However, I will apply again in early spring. It has worked miracles in the past I've used it for 6+ years with excellent results.

Comments about Grub Guard:
I have been using Grub Guard on my lawn for a number of years. I wish I had put it down in the Spring of this year because I needed it then. I thought I was grub-free, but by September I knew they were back. I applied it a few weeks ago but will remember to repeat again next spring. I get these tiny wire worms and when I had my first infestation years ago it was so bad I could blow the lawn up like a toupee on someone's head. The grass just pulled right out. Grub guard actually saved that lawn. It's a great product and I recommend it without hesitation.

Comments about Grub Guard:
I bought this product to try and control fleas in the yard since we have a new puppy. It is hard to determine if it is working since things are small but I do believe it worked since our dog seems better with the scratching.

Comments about Grub Guard:
I had a zucchini plant that the grubs had eaten all but the stalk. After I appled, it's actually got some leaf growth. Too bad I didn't spread over the whole garden. Slugs on my tomatoes, but I didn't spread the product there. I'll know better next time!

Not sure if i got this in the ground on time but we do notice a reduced number of Japanese beetles on our trees and shrubs. Very easy to use in a hand held sprayer.

Comments about Grub Guard:
There are several problems with this product. 1) It doesn't tell you whether or not you can put the whole styrofoam container in the fridge or if it should only be the sponge in the bag. 2) I had no idea how long it takes for a gallon of water to reach room temperature. Also, a gallon of concentrate was really too much for my needs. 3) it says to put a small amount of concentrate in a watering can or whatever your method of spraying is. [...]
