Japanese beetles are just about the worst pest your garden can have. As adults, they ravage your flowers and vegetables. As young grubs they devour your lawn's root system, and they attract skunks and moles. Grub Guard beneficial nematodes are naturally occurring microorganisms that live in the soil, feeding on Japanese beetle grubs. Unlike chemical controls, they won't harm earthworms or most beneficial insects, and they are safe around pets.

Comments about Grub Guard:
It's always good to have an organic avenue for pests in the garden. Even as the first small damage to garden crops show, this product can be applied and counted on to address both the damage and our suspicions as to which pest to focus on. The long lasting effect of this application is comforting and avoids the constant barrage of chemicals that other products require with repeat applications. The application is easy, non-toxic to plants, pets and persons. I'm very happy with this product and highly recommend it's use!

Comments about Grub Guard:
cutworms on cucumbers disappeared about a week after application. used twice as much as recommended though, only because i was skepticle and it is very difficult to tell if 'it's alive' and hard to tell if the critters have all evacuated the mixer bottle. (maybe add some food coloring next time?)

Comments about Grub Guard:
This sponge supposedly has microscopic bugs but you can't see the bugs so you have no idea if there is anything there. If you don't use the product right away you have to store it in your frig and it is very fragile, the bugs die very easily. I will not buy this one again.

Comments about Grub Guard:
If your problem is huge it's going to take more than one application. Be persistant. This is the best solution out there

Comments about Grub Guard:
We applied Grub Guard ~6-8 weeks ago. We used with bottle attached to hose and had a hard time knowing whether we'd diluted it accurately. However, so far any grubs that I've found while weeding have not been alive. Great news for our lawn and gardens! Will definitely use again.

Spray it on lawn, The nematodes take care of grubs and the moles visit elsewhere. Result- no more bare spots!

Comments about Grub Guard:
Since item is microscopic, survival upon arrival is of question. Glass test was inconclusive. Harsh winter may kill it. Too expensive for the unknowns.

Comments about Grub Guard:
You need to make it clearer in the description of the product that it is alive and must be kept that way and that they will only live for 30 days. We have no idea whether they were alive or dead when we applied them If I had known what I found out when they arrived I would never have ordered them
