Best Uses
This product took days to assemble. No instructions were included. The holes for the bolts were not large enough, so I had to drill them. One of the supporting legs is warped, so the entire thing is tilted. The pieces of wood are not sanded so there are many splinters. And to top it all off, the included coir growing medium is so dense and full of large chunks that my kales and chards cannot grow. After a month, they are still mere sprouts. Do not buy this product.
Forget about easy assembly. No instructions were included, but I was able to find them online (the instructions tell you that it's best to have 2 people assemble it). Some of the bolts had damaged threads so I had to go to my local hardware to purchase new ones. Some of the wood screws' slots for the philips head driver were not punched out rendering them unusable so back to the hardware. I called customer service to request a prepaid return shipping label, and was told that isn't Gardeners.com policy. They said I could return it at my expense (adding another $20-30 dollars for UPS to my cost on top of hardware purchases) and they would send a new one. I paid full price[$]and it is now on sale for [$] - but DON'T DO IT. Also, I had to re-drill approx 1/4 of all the holes. Lastly, the terrace is made from untreated pine wood so now I'm left with a choice. Use it for one year and watch it rot or take the time and expense to treat it. Not the best choice. Oh, and did I mention that customer service could care less!
