In England, the gardening philosophy is simple: when something works, don’t change it. This natural jute garden twine is a perfect example. Sold in a patented, no-tangle tin since 1915, it’s softer, more pliable, and easier on plants than hardware store twine. A turn-of-the-century innovation that’s just as useful today.

Comments about Greentwist Garden Twine:
This is a soft twine, easy to tie and seems gentle enough for tying up delicate plants. I've also used it for attaching netting for climbing vines, e.g. clematis. The can in which it stays keeps it from tangling, or keeps the user from inadvertently starting from the wrong end!

Comments about Greentwist Garden Twine:
These come in a plastic wrapper that appears to be the packaging. After removing it, I realized it was what held the cap on, making it somewhat useless now. It should also have a built in cutter. The twine does seem nice and durable ans the green color seems like it will blend better.

I've used this product for years - there is no other like it; some of its uses for me:
To tie wayward branches of new trees and other woody plants to guide them the way I want them to grow;
To bundle old magazines for recycling.

Comments about Greentwist Garden Twine:
This twine has been out in the elements serving as a grid for my plantings in raised beds. It's durable, substantial, and its green dye doesn't rub off on surfaces (like my hands when I'm out weeding after a rain).
My only wish is that the container had a built-in cutter like a spool of thread has.

This product could use a self contained cutting mechanism so you don't have to fumble with a sissors.
