Now, gardeners in the US can enjoy the unmatched durability and legendary comfort of Gold Leaf Gloves. Boasting exceptionally high-quality materials and workmanship, Gold Leaf Gloves stand up to tough tasks yet remain soft and pliable. One of the few select products ever endorsed by Britain’s Royal Horticultural Society, Gold Leaf gloves are used by the gardeners at Buckingham Palace! Winter Touch Gloves are made with high quality cowhide with an extra layer of split cowhide on the palm. A Thinsulate thermal lining keeps hands warm even in the coldest weather, and an additional Ski-Dri waterproof, breathable lining ensures hands stay dry, too. They’re perfect for winter pruning, snow shoveling and cold weather sports. The gloves start out snug; as you wear them they stretch and conform to the contours of your hand like a custom-tailored glove. Choice of two sizes: Women's or Men's. Women with large hands may want to order the Men's size.

Pros
- Warm while working
Cons
Best Uses
- Raking Leaves On Cold Day
- Winter Pruning
These gloves are warm on dry days. They are not a substitute for wool mittens in the middle of winter, but you need the dexterity at times.
- Was this a gift?:
- No
Pros
- Hard to find item
- Insulated Work Glove
Cons
- Made in China
Best Uses
- Mild Winter
Although I have the same gripe about these as their uninsulated partners - made in China but GS chooses to only mention England in the description - I give these a tepid "would recommend" since it is so hard to find insulated work gloves that are supple enough to work in. Also, since they're insulated, the price point (for a made in China item) is more appropriate. I think they will stand up to one or two winters of tough use and they are comfortable and not too bulky. But... The one size fits all is nonsense - pretty sure these will only work for people in the middle of the size chart.
Pros
- Flexible Warm Dry
Cons
Best Uses
- Getting The Garden Ready
- Scraping Frost Off Window
Bought these for my husband and son (who both work on the garden) and ordered an extra pair as a gift for my gardening brother-in law. Everyone was pleased. Wet, cold weather is part of our life in the winter, but chores still need to be done before those first buds appear in the spring!
I have large hands for a woman - 8 1/4" around the base of the four fingers - and so I followed the website instructions and ordered the men's. Big mistake; these winter gloves are huge. I had a man with larger hands than mine try them on. They were large on him too, no chance of the tight fit we are told to expect. Perhaps that does not apply to the winter ones? These are also very bulky so they are unlikely to be of any more use in the garden in winter than any other warm winter gloves you already have at home.
