The first pair were a Xmas gift from a friend. The next two pair I bought so I would always have a pair available. They are great because they mold to my hands and I can easily grab and pick up items. Ideal for weed pulling too.

Today, I used the gloves for the first time. Honestly, I was afraid that I had wasted a lot of money on a product that wouldn't deliver. After working around roses and prickly plants/weeds, I was sold. I insisted on my husband trying on my gloves. He was sold, with the exception of needing a "male" size glove. With this being said, I'm not impressed with the "one size fits all (aka not everyone)" when it comes to these gloves. Bottom line....I'd give a rating of at least 4.5/5

Lasted only 3 days before the stitching broke on the top of a finger leaving a big hole. I used them for digging rocks out of the garden, laying gravel for paths and smoothing out the gravel. I carried and moved large rocks for walls and boarders. I was skeptical of the fabric part on the fingers as soon as I saw them but gave them a shot. No good for my type of work. I was surprised that they only lasted 3 days, I was hoping for at least a week but I bought them because I was hoping for maybe a year of use. I gave them average rating because they would be good for pruning, for average weeding they may be a bit hot to wear in the summer but are nice and comfortable for light use.

I LOVE these gloves! I have only used these gloves for the fall season, but, so far they have held up beautifully. These truely are the gold standard for garden gloves! Yes, they are pricey, but if you do serious garden work then these are so so worth it. These have saved my hands from many a bister and bruise after hours and hours of garden work this fall! I love to put them on, love to work in them, and hate to take them off. The yellow color does wear off of the palms after the first few uses, which alarmed me at first, but it is just the leather breaking in.
Pros
- Comfortable
- High Quality
Cons
- Not waterproof
Best Uses
- Pruning
- Roses
The most comfortable and well-made gardening gloves I've ever owned! The leather on the palms & fingers is both thick and soft at the same time, and the double-thick knit material one the back side of the glove discourages rose thorns from sneak attacks from the rear :-). They are not waterproof, like some plasticized rose gloves, but they dry out well and stay soft.
