Comments about Germinating Mix, 9 Qts.:
This mix is above and beyond better than any other germinating soil that I have ever used. So much so, that I probably will be using this product exclusively for all my seed starting needs. With this mix, plants start sooner, grow faster and are overall stronger and heathier when the time comes for transplanting. My only complaint is that there is not a size larger that 9 Qts. available for purchase.

Purchased this soil based on reccmmendation from Tomatofest website. Had a good germination rate for the heirloom tomato seeds I planted. Will test the soil at a later date to grow microgreens

Comments about Germinating Mix, 9 Qts.:
This is the only seed starting product I have used for many years. It is the best I have ever used. Seeds come right up in this and they develop healthy root systems. I have never had a problem with damping off or anything else with this product. I keep a large supply stored at all times so that I don't run out and have to go to the store to buy an inferior product.

Comments about Germinating Mix, 9 Qts.:
This germinating mix is just AMAZING. I purchased some organic germinating mix at a local greenhouse and did my own "test" per se with that mix versus this; this won out hands down. There was NO comparison to how quickly the seeds germinated. After several weeks, there is still no comparison to the plants in this mix and the organic product I purchased (which was also more expensive). I will never buy anything but this in the future! LOVE IT.

Comments about Germinating Mix, 9 Qts.:
I have used this with the APS systems for many years. It's slow to breakdown, wicks well, works wonderfully for difficult to germinate seeds and is always reliably sterile to avoid moss and algae growth early. As a rooting medium it works very well with delicate rooted plants such as gesneriads. Can be used for fern spores as well. Always have an un-opened bag in my greenhouse!
