It is an attractive feeder but I was very disappointed with it. Birds do not like it and birds cannot get seed out of it easily even though I changed the type of feed a couple times. Why have a feeder that does not attract any bird.

The seeds stay in until the birds take them out. Other feeders I've had the birds shake the seeds out all over the ground.
The bird seed stays dry even in the rain and if water does get in the tray there are drain holes to let the water out.

It's anythiong but, squirrels seem to enjoy it just like they've done with all other feeders I've tried. they simply cannot be outsmarted.

I purchased this bird feeder to replace one that didn't last a whole season. The construction is great and easy to fill. It isn't squirrel proof, but the larger squirrels can't quite hang on and feed, it's the smaller red ones that can! Otherwise, I have seen a wide range of birds, from finches to cardinals, enjoying the seed thus far. I would purchase this one again!

The small birds love this feeder. We have several different designs and attract a lot of birds during the fall, winter, and spring. The squirrels are frustrated due to the small deck area that they can't sit or stay on.
