Upside-down growing has become increasingly popular with tomato lovers. It removes the need for staking, tying or weeding, and it significantly reduces the chance of soil-borne disease. Since the fruit doesn't touch the ground, it has fewer blemishes, and you can hang your planter anywhere that gets plenty of sun.
Our Gardener's Revolution™ Planter has a unique top-down watering system that delivers the right amount of moisture to the soil. The new, woven-poly liner opens up for planting, then zips shut — you won't injure the plant trying to push it through a hole. The liner is also air-permeable to aerate roots and prevent heat build-up. An improved, two-part powder-coated steel cage encloses the liner, and the planter hangs from our unique swivel hook that makes it a breeze to turn your plant.
Even if you have a regular garden, you'll find that this revolutionary growing system is a fun way to get a picture-perfect harvest of delicious, homegrown tomatoes.

Comments about Gardener's Revolution™ Planter:
I haven't used the planters yet, but I was confident enough with Gardeners recommendation to purchase four of them. I had used some of the TV advertised planters, but they didn't hold up through a full season!

Comments about Gardener's Revolution™ Planter:
We tried this 2 years in a row. Last year Gardeners supply sent us new wicking strips which seemed to help. I would not recommend this if you have a windy yard. The wind really bangs up the plants as they sway and damages the tomatoes and blossums.
Might work great in a more protected area.

Comments about Gardener's Revolution™ Planter:
Purchased one before and had a hard time getting the plant in (okay not real good at this), but with this new design the only draw back is gone! Only have grown a few items, the watering system really helped.
Starting using so my grandmother could see the tomatoes-right at her eye level, added no bending over, added no staking, added no bug problem PLUS it's just neat, everyone talks about it when they come over.

Comments about Gardener's Revolution™ Planter:
I had good luck with tomatoes, The " self watering" device never worked well, perhaps becuase of our low humidity in central Texas. I had a hose nearby and added a little water everyday. The Tomatoes were excellent and numerous. However, by second season, the bag had some deteriation and there are no replacements. It was suggessted that I by the whole apparatus again, ( I had a 4 hanging pole) so I am going to try to make my own bags, Wish me luck
