A Revolutionary Way to Grow Tomatoes!
- A fun way to enjoy fresh, homegrown tomatoes
- No weeds and fewer pests than in-ground plants
- Can also be used to grow peppers, cucumbers and eggplants
The Gardener's Revolution Planter® is a fun and easy way to grow tomatoes. It's designed for healthy plant growth and easy maintenance, so you can get a blemish-free harvest anywhere in full sun — even on your deck or by the front door. The planter is sturdy and reusable, with a two-part, powder-coated steel cage and a woven poly liner that lets roots "breathe." The liner opens up for planting, then zips shut, so you won't injure the plant trying to push it through a hole. The planter hangs from our unique swivel hook that makes it a breeze to turn your plant. And now we've improved the top-down water delivery system to make it easier than ever to keep the plant properly watered. Even if you have a regular garden, you'll find that this revolutionary growing system is a fun way to get a picture-perfect harvest of delicious, homegrown tomatoes. Includes planting tips from our own test gardens.

Comments about Gardener's Revolution® Planter:
Very difficult to put together without instructions.... but if you look at the pictures on the website you can figure it out... the clips really do not help stay together...I had to add cable ties...but all in all very happy with it.

Comments about Gardener's Revolution® Planter:
I like this planter because I can put the hanger where I have the best sun. I've used indeterminate and determinate tomatoes and both work fine. I use the Velcro plant tie tape to hold the branches off the ground if the plants get too big!
The first pair of planters the bags lasted 2 seasons and I thought I was going to be able to buy replacement bags and capillary strips for a reasonable price but not so! They now only sell a replenishment kit which includes bag, planting mix and fertilizer for $25 plus shipping (hate the idea of paying to ship dirt to California). Those are some expensive tomatoes. I bought it anyway because the homegrown tomatoes are worth it to me but I took off one star on the review. I probably wouldn't buy this if I had a good place to put pots.

Comments about Gardener's Revolution® Planter:
wish I could buy just the bag that goes in it as I already have 6 cages and do not need them. All I need is new bags. It cost more to buy just the bag than it does to buy the set when on sale

Comments about Gardener's Revolution® Planter:
I love these! I have grown tomatoes for years, and these have produced the best crops, year after year. Last year, I grew San Marzanos in the planters and in the ground, the plants in the hanging planters grew bigger, and produced almost double the fruit as the ones in my beds.

Comments about Gardener's Revolution® Planter:
The product works well in concept but the fabric bags disentegrated in only one season of use. Additionally, the bags cannot be purchased without the wire framework. I would purchase additional bags if they were made of a more durable fabric and if the bags alone could be purchased. Without the bags it makesthe entire system unusable. Invested a lot of money in the bags, hanger, etc. and now that investment is wasted without the bags. Most unhappy with this product as a result.

Comments about Gardener's Revolution® Planter:
This has been a great addition. I used four in four arm plant stand this year and purchased 8 more for next years garden planning (along with the four arm planter stands). Also bought a set for each of my adult children to start their gardens with next year.

Comments about Gardener's Revolution® Planter:
We use the product for cherry and grape tomatoes, connected to a drip system providing about 3 gallons of water a day to each planter. The wicking system works well to distribute the water to the planter.
Good and sturdy - does not come apart like some other like products do.

Tomatoes are consistently the most popular vegetable in American gardens. But for most gardeners, just any old tomato won't do.
