Visit Our Vermont Stores
Gardeners from around the world know that when you're in New England, Gardener’s Supply is a "must-see" destination. So if your travels take you to northern Vermont, we hope you’ll stop by for a visit. We love meeting our customers and talking with fellow gardeners, and it’s a great opportunity for you to "kick the tires" and see what's new.
In our Burlington store, you'll find products from our catalogs on display as well as hundreds of other gardening tools and accessories from all over the world. We will be happy to show you around, and help you choose the perfect trellis for your clematis, the ideal composter for your backyard or a terrific pair of gardening gloves. Our year-round glass greenhouse is filled with a seasonal selection of orchids and other flowering exotics, houseplants, culinary herbs and more. During the growing season, our outdoor nursery area features Vermont-grown vegetable and flower seedlings, potted perennials, roses, fruit trees, ground covers, trees and shrubs. Have a gardening question? We have gardening books, magazines and free how-to bulletins. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff is always happy to help. Looking for a gift or decorative items for your home? You'll find those here as well. We have scented soaps and lotions, baskets, wind chimes and a lot more.
Outside our Burlington store you'll find three acres of beautiful display gardens featuring annual and perennial flowers, spring- and fall-blooming bulbs, vegetables and other edible plants, wildflowers, roses and water gardens. We also have a wildlife habitat garden that’s been certified by the National Wildlife Federation. Our Research and Development team always has some interesting projects underway, and you're welcome to tour these gardens as well. During the summer months, the gardens are open for self-guided tours from dawn to dusk. If you are interested in scheduling a guided tour for 10 or more, please call our Tour Request Line: 802-660-3500 x5386.
Adjacent to our Burlington store is a remarkable 700-acre parcel of land known as The Intervale. About 400 acres are overseen by the Intervale Center, a non-profit organization founded and partially funded by Gardener’s Supply. The Intervale is an urban farming success story. There are a dozen small independent farms producing vegetables, flowers, chickens, grain, berries and honey. Also located in the Intervale is Vermont’s largest community supported agriculture (CSA) farm, with 500 member households, a community composting facility, a conservation nursery and community gardens. There are also miles of walking and biking trails open to all. The Gardener’s Supply store in Williston is about 15 minutes from Burlington. There you'll find all of our great Gardener's Supply products as well as value-priced clearance items and overstocks. Both stores are unique and there’s always something new. The stores are open from 9 am to 6 pm every day. For detailed directions, see the maps to our stores. |
