Comments about GardenQuilt Cover:
I have two 4x10 ft raised beds where I grow vegetables and lettuce. If I cover these beds when we have a freeze (2-10 days a winter), I can grow lettuce and other vegtables thoughout the winter. We had an excellent salad tonight 1/31 with several varieties of lettuce from that garden. With global warming, the number of freezing nights is in the low end of that range. I covered the garden with old bed sheets in the past but the garden quilts seem to be a better alternative. I have used them twice this winter with no problems. The lettuce is doing fine after two freezes.

Comments about GardenQuilt Cover:
I used this cloth over my newly sprouted garden for most of Nov and Dec when we had an unusually cold snap. It saved my new plants from frost destruction while others left uncovered were consumed by the cold! It would be covered in ice in the morning when I lifted it off so the plants could get the morning sun, but plants under it were safe and sound!!!

This is an easy to use, lightweight yet sturdy row cover that is perfect for over-wintering veggies in my raised bed. In zone 7 I have kept lettuce, spinach, collards, Brussels Sprouts over the winter cozy under this quilt. It also gives me a head start on my peas, potatoes, and other early spring veggies. I highly recommend you try this cover to extend your veggie growing year round.

Comments about GardenQuilt Cover:
I use the Garden Quilt Cover to protect my strawberry plants in the winter. My raised beds are 4x8' and the 6' garden quilt works great because I can staple down the sides and loosly drape the quilt over the plants. The quilts last a few years and I use the old quilts that have many holes in them to cover my other raised beds so I can keep the kitties from using them in the winter and to keep the multch from blowing away in a few of the beds.

You can use a hole punch so that you can put either ties or metal stakes wherever needed.

I am using this product to shield my vegetables and plants during cooler/cold months. I purchased the 6 ft by 50 ft size in medium weight. It allows light to penetrate and holds the heat during the cool nights. It is easy to work with and can be sewn on a standard sewing machine to customize dimentions needed.

I'm using this to cover my potted plants that would normally freeze at temps below 28 degrees. Also using it on my Meyer Lemon tree that is planted in the ground. It's big enough to cover it quite well.
