This cover, which I am using as a sun shade for my plants, has withstood 40 mph winds off and on here in New Mexico for weeks without showing any signs of wear. I am truly impressed with the durability because these winds shred everything.

2013 late frosts was cause to open pkg. earlier than planned & it saved my fast-growing home perennials off & on for a wk. or more. Is meant for summer service at our camp (w/hoops also purchased) to protect my veg. greens & srawberry bed from scorching early aft. sun due to loss of elder Pine that once kept that part of the garden lightly shaded.

I have had a vegetable garden for a few years now, and every spring we have a couple of nights with frost or temperatures close to it. I became tired of my amateur-solutions, and finally bought the Garden Quilt. It has a good size, is light-weight but fairly thick, so I did not have to worry about my veggies freezing.
Cannot confirm if it holds its promise of protecting into the mid 20s, since it thankfully did not get that cold, but with its thickness it sounds plausible.

cover my strawberry bed and it does a great job
with winter protection. I sometimes use the
quilt in the spring to cover tender plants when
a frost is forecast. Always does a great job.

Just pulled it out yesterday. I am using it to cover spring lettuce plants in Earthboxes when frost is predicted. Ability to easily cut to fit my area to protect is a big plus. Not enough use to date to identify problem areas, if any.
