I use this product to cover my 300 fall planted pansies in 7 gardens when temperatures are expected to fall below 28 degrees. It goes on and off multiple times between Nov. 1st and March 15th without tearing. This replaced the previous cover purchased from Gardeners Supply a least 8 years ago.

          Comments about GardenQuilt Cover:

This garden quilt cover saved my tomatoes. In Texas we never know what the weather will be and I hoped to have a Fall crop of tomatoes. I strung Christmas lights around the plant and wrapped them with this fabric. There was enough left over to cover my lettuce, broccoli and cauliflower too. Everything is still alive and thriving as of Dec 30.

              Comments about GardenQuilt Cover:

We bought the Garden Quilt to protect our citrus trees--a lemon and two orange trees. We applied them to frames constructed of PVC. There was ample fabric and we like that it is so lightweight and easy to work with, as well as light-permeable. We have used similar products before but yours is of superior quality. We are using small remnants after cutting to cover frost-sensitive perennials and succulents!

                Comments about GardenQuilt Cover:

My salad bed is actually better now, after 2 frosts, than it was in the spring. I got carrots, beets and green onions in very late but with the cover they look like they will mature. I build by won frame from pvc pipe and have heavy clear plastic to cover the bed when the temp. stays low.

                  Comments about GardenQuilt Cover:

I've used these garden quilts for years. I have a greenhouse that I plant lettuce and other greens into the ground early fall. I don't heat the gr. house so need these quilts to lay over the crop to keep from freezing during the winter. Since we can get temperatures below 24 degrees I use three quilts for extra protection.

I used this on my tomato plants in Boulder Colorado. They survived the first couple of frosts in October. However the latest storm of light snow and 19 degrees was too much for it. Worth using to extend the growing season a few weeks.
