I purchased the armillary to camouflage a septic tank vent in my backyard using the protruding pipe as a "base" for the armillary. The result is as good as I had hoped! It turned an eyesore into a classy garden display and one would never guess what the base really is. The armillary is well made and a great value for the price. I am very, very pleased with this purchase.

I gave 2 of these as gifts. One daughter loves it outdoors (MA) perched on a large rock in her front yard. The other loves it in her screened pool/spa (FL). Both love them, 'though the MA daughter has found it difficult to secure to the ledge.
