Comments about Galvanized Raised Beds:
I have not set this bed up yet since it is still winter, but from first appearances it looks very well made. Shipping was fast and the beds arrived in great condition. It is supposed to be 59 degrees here today on the 31st of January. Maybe I will set them up today :).

Comments about Galvanized Raised Beds:
This is a GREAT raised bed. As a military wife I want garden supplies that I can take with me. A wooden raised bed can't come with me to our next assignmentbut hose these them off and I'm ready to go.. This solved the moving problem and the price was Perfect! I can't take the plants of course but now it will be easy to get a fresh start fast. Assembly of the 3x6 is not very clear. The metal tabs at the corner do fit into each other but not in the middle of the 6 ft side. It's not a problem though. A few zip ties held it together just fine. And when one of those ties broke a few weeks later, the bed stayed in place just fine. The instructions did say something about pins to hold it together but there were no pins in my box. It wasn't a problem. Very happy with the product and I will be recommending it to military friends.

Comments about Galvanized Raised Beds:
Bought two boxes to expand my square foot vegetable gardening. These are perfect because of the 10in depth and the 3x3 size fit so nicely in a small yard. The galvanized finish is nice for Florida because it reflects the sun(you really don't need a black plastic box that will heat up the roots);and termites love the wood boxes. Thanks to the other reviewers who suggested wire ties for the corners!

Comments about Galvanized Raised Beds:
It is important to emphasize in the directions to wire the center pieces together ACROSS the width of the unit. Otherwise the pressure of wet dirt pushes on the sides and buckles.

Comments about Galvanized Raised Beds:
I am finally going to have the perfect garden without the weeds encroaching and fighting me and my plants. Ive had it set up for a month and have been putting in my compost and fillers. Can't wait to get a garden started next spring. Im glad I bought 2 of these, and will consider 2 more next year.

Comments about Galvanized Raised Beds:
As a professional, I've been meaning to add raised beds to my own garden for sometime. Like they say about the cobbler's family having no shoes... I didn't have raised beds. They are expensive to build and fill with soil.
I took advantage of this great price and am very pleased. Because the most level area of my yard is not truly level, I zip-tied corners for added stability, and used brick beneath one end of my beds. I also lined the bottoms with porch screen to keep soil in. It took 56 CF of soil to fill eight beds.

I'll start early tomatoes in a more sheltered place than my big garden.

Comments about Galvanized Raised Beds:
We purchased one of the 3 by 3 beds and immediately ordered 2 more. Easy assembly if you use wire or plastic ties. These are a nice depth and really look good. We are using them for a fall garden now & then will be ready to go in the spring. You just can't beat raised beds for gardening and these were a great value!
