Every morning when I turn on my coffee pot two of these chickens are the first things I see in my garden.....and they make me smile. The other two are across from my back door. All four hold special places in my yard! I love them. Hope they hold up well year after year.

My four chickens are scratching away in my herb garden. They get lots of attention from everyone who stops by. I prefer that they not develop the rusty patina so I sprayed them with polyurethane to allow them to keep their individual personalities.

The chickens are super cute, but they are incomplete. You have to spray them with rust preventative before putting them outside. Considering they are clearly intended to be yard art, they should come with the rust proof coating already on them.
