I couldn't really tell from the picture that the funky chickens were painted metal. They looked ceramic, but I was really pleased to find them metal. They will not be as likely to be damaged in my garden. I have a "metal" section and a "farm" section. So, my biggest decision will be where to display them!

I have 'Bill and Dottie' in my side garden in an area of ground cover. They add a visual interest in the bed. I have purchased 3 more sets for 3 sisters. Now we are 'hip chicks'!

The chickens are witty and well designed -- I don't use much in the way of garden ornaments, but I've long admired these and couldn't resist them when they were on sale. I hope that when they rust, the colors remain.

I've loved these items since they first appeared in catalog, but being on a budget couldn't order. When I saw this set on sale I HAD to get it. They look really cute in my garden peeking out from under some plants. I plan to add at least the baby chicks and maybe one other set as I expand the bed next Spring.
I haven't found any problems with the product. They anchor in the ground easily. They seem to handle getting wet well, no rust or problems.
