It never really worked --even tho I tried to balance it, and we have some good wind here, but never really spun around.
Then it broke at the welded point, where it fits into the pipe. Really didn't do what it was designed for.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Had to get this whirlygig to match with the rest of the funky pets I already own. It's such a pleasure to sit back and get lost in the movement of the whirlygig. I've attached it to the bannister of my deck so I could watch it do it's funky dance while I relax.
