      Comments about Fruit Feeder:

Loved the concept of this item, but very disappointed when it arrived. Same as previous buyers, flimsy, bird is unattractive (I didn't even bother to use it, I was afraid it would scare the real birds away!)and the finish quickly pitted and turned ugly. I hate to waste money, so I still use it and every once in awhile a bird will come and use it, but they don't look comfortable with how to land and taste the fruit without upsetting the feeder. Something a bit more sturdy would be perfect.

Please figure out a new way to package this product, so it doesn't arrive bent. The idea for the product is great, an easy concept. We'll see how the birds like it!

      Comments about Fruit Feeder:

I purchased the feeder for a gift. I loved the idea of spearing the fruits for Orioles. It will certainly work fine but I was disappointed by the appearance of the little bird that sits on top. It looks like something my 5 year old could have made. The bird also doesn't fit really well on the post it is supposed to perch on. My mother loves it but agrees that it does not look like it does in the picture.

        Comments about Fruit Feeder:

Great little gift for the garden. We bought one for us and one to give as a gift. The little birds have a hole drilled into the bottom of their ceramic bodies and sit loosely on a metal mounting stub at the top of the feeder so that it can be removed easily. One is kind of crude and sits rather skewed. But overall they are very sweet. We kept the one that wasn't quite right and will hang it on our porch where it won't be so apt to fall off.

I thought simple design would attract birds--but it hasn't worked! Just put another orange out today.

But so far no birds have come to this feeder-may be the wrong time of year for such!!! Otherwise we would include pictures!!!

                    Comments about Fruit Feeder:

I've tried to attract Orioles with feeders that contain orange colored and scented nectar -- to no avail. This simple little feeder (why didn't I think of that?) brings the Orioles that I knew were in the area but had had no success attracting. I liked it so much I ordered one for our son.
