Comments about Fruit Fly Traps, Set of 2:
I'm wondering if the low ratings given by some of the reviewers were because they didn't puncture the holes in the traps?! Many said the flies were attracted to the trap but acted like they didn't go in! Gotta puncture the holes with the included white stick...it works wonders!
This product is a Godsend! I am by no means a clean freak (in fact, my friends would laugh at that statement and give a hearty AMEN as well)...I have fruit and veggies on the countertop because I have a kitchen garden out my back door and have, in the past, had horrible, embarrassing swarms of fruit flies invading my kitchen. After purchasing, AND PUNCTURING the trap, and putting it in it's pretty soapstone container, NO MORE FRUIT FLIES!!! In fact, I'm back to order more traps since we are at the beginning of the season and want to head those buggars off before they get a foothold in my house! I cannot say enough good things about these traps...and they last a LONG time too!
I've given them as gifts...I'm just hoping my friends and family punched the holes out in the top of the traps! :-) The flies have to have a way to get in!!! Then...they die! Yay!

Comments about Fruit Fly Traps, Set of 2:
I don't have a problem, as a rule. However, in the warmer weather with more fruit peels in the compost bucket by the sink, sometimes I get a few and these take care of the problem really fast. In the little soapstone containers, they look nice too. :)

Comments about Fruit Fly Traps, Set of 2:
Every year I grow tomatoes, and I love to have a large platter of them on my kitchen table. I think it's beautiful. Invariably fruit flies will follow. These traps solve the problem, and with the attractive little box I don't mind setting them right on the table.

I use this product in a bakery and like that it is food safe, meaning the health department won't mind you having them. They don't take up much of a footprint, but are still effective in reducing fruit flies.
