It does warm cold feet nicely, but it could use more padding on the top of the feet to keep the heat in. The gel packs are very flimsy and one has to be much too careful in heating them, down to the precise second.

I read the reviews before buying this product and realized that the inserts would be too small to be effective. So I researched how to make my own inserts with buckwheat hulls or lavender. The foot warmer will be used at my computer this winter and double as a foot rest. I would not have bought it if it wasn't on a fantastic sale. Looking forward to cozy toes!

My computer is against an outside wall facing southwest, during the winter it gets a little chilly with all of the windows in our family room. This will be a blessing, I used to have to put on extra socks when it was extrememly cold, and I wanted to use my computer.

tHIS WAS PURCHASED FOR A XMAS PRESENT FOR A FRIEND. I AM SURE SHE WILL LOVE IT AS SHE ALWAYS HAS COLD FEET. IT IS MUCH NICER THAN I EXPECTED.
