I really like this cart. For years, my wife and I have used a construction-sized wheelbarrow for gardening, which I like because it's maneuverable and fits through our garage and porch doorways. However, this cart is much easier to handle in other ways, and certainly easier for my wife to manage. It's not perfect, though. I generally like the construction, but the slide-in tailgate on ours does not fit properly. It has a novel design for the ends of the top of the tailgate to clip over plastic buttons on the ends of the upper rails, but it appears ours was not manufactured correctly and the clips would not go over the rail ends until I bent them out quite a ways. Otherwise, the tail gate won't slide down all the way, leaving an inch or so gap across the bottom. I contacted Gardener's Supply, who looked at one in their store. It sounds like theirs may be made the same way, but I'm not sure. I have not (yet) tried contacting the manufacturer directly. This is really not a big deal, but I see their intentions with the design and I'm disappointed they didn't quite build it that way. I would definitely buy one again, as advantages outweigh this inconvenience. My comment about going through doorways....I haul stove pellets to the back porch for winter, and the wheels are just a little too wide for the doorway. Not a fault of the cart! Also, it does require a little care in loading, or it will tip up if too much weight is added behind the wheels. Again, not rocket science, it's just different than the old wheelbarrow.

The first day I used it to transport an entire set of lawn chairs to the neighbor's I would have taken me four trips and a lot more energy to do this without the cart. I also move some big heavy plant pots around the yard, with no real effort!
It's light weight and sturdy
Pros

Cons
- Aluminum metal too thin
- Gates don't attach well
Best Uses

we have a beach cottage & it works well for taking umbrellas, chairs & such to the beach.
folds quickly for storage.
sheet aluminum is too thin; doubling the thickness wouldn't add much to weight or manuf. cost. Would make it much more sturdy.
front & back gate attachment awkward & not very secure. Channels would be an improvement.

- Hauling wood

- Moving plants
I use this cart for moving plants and heavy bags from the driveway up to the back yard, compost from the pile to the garden and wood from the woodpile to the house. Because it has two wheels instead of one, it is a hundred times easier to maneuver than a wheelbarrow. When folded, it takes up very little room in my small garage.
Pros
- Better than a wheelbarrow
- Easy to maneuver
- Simple to put together
- Very easy to store
Cons
Best Uses
- Moving plants wood
I use it to move plants and heavy bags from driveway to backyard, and to haul wood from the woodpile to the house. I love that it folds up and doesn't take up much room in my small garage. There really isn't anything negative for me to say!
Pros
- Carries lots of weight
- Easy to manipulate
- Lasts forever
Cons
Best Uses
- Transports all with ease
This was my Mother's Day gift to myself. Now I have one for the front of the house and the older one for the back of the house. I have had the older one for so long and have carried so many items in it that the handles are finally starting to bend. I'm still using it, however. This product is well worth the cost.
