This traditional flat-iron hanging basket holds the secret to a beautiful flowering display: an AquaSav™ Basket Liner. Developed for the commercial nursery trade, this basket requires 50% less watering than standard baskets. Sandwiched between layers of natural coir fiber is a water-retaining liner made of 100% recycled post-consumer plastic. It retains the look of a traditional hayrack planter but with built-in drought insurance. It's a lifesaver for flowers, especially if they're exposed to both sun and wind.

These baskets are the most beautiful of all I have seen. The go anywhere, hold the perfect amount of flowers and hold water well. My hanging baskets brighten up all areas of the yard.

These are definately more attractive than the less expensive ones at the big box store. I continue to be pleased with the quality of products purchased from Gardener Supply. I am growing cherry tomatoes in mine.

The larger size basket is well proportioned for our two story home. I have it hanging on a shepherd's hook at the end of the garage and it shows well. Can't imagine going back to a smaller basket! I've only had it a few days so can't comment on durability, etc.

I was very excited when I got my two baskets. They looked great and the liners are so much better than anything I've seen elsewhere. However, when I brought the baskets indoors for the winter, after emptying them and throwing away the liner......the basket itself is peeling. There is a coating (plastic?) on the flat iron and it's peeling off in big chunks. The only solution might be to sand it down and spray paint it. Very frustrating since I thought they were better quality and would last more than one summer!

I don't notice any difference with the frequency of watering the flowers. They do seem to be much healthier. I purchased these purely for looks - they look good. Good quality construction.

Most the baskets I saw in the stores were too small and too flimsy. This basket has enough space to make a really nice full arrangement and holds moisture better than any other basket I've ever used.
