Not sure how good this product is because it arrived with the bracing unattached. We were unable to assemble the stand. It seemed like a good idea but did not measure up in quality.

This is a little smaller and less sturdy than I had hoped. The tools are nice. Might make better storage for the occasional fire builder than the nightly one, as it's an attractive way to store wood and kindling.

I'd like to see the addition of side rails so shorter pieces of wood don't fall out, and so the tools don't get in the way of the wood storage section.
The area for kindling needs some work too - not sure what. I've begun keeping my kindling in a separate coal hod type container & using this space for paper. Still not entirely satisfactory since all the paper I end up with is not flat (egg cartons, etc.)

After comparing prices at local fireplace equipment stores, I went with the rack from Gardners Supply. Considering the price is less than half at stores, Ishould have expected the quality to be less. The materials are definitely cheap as it is foreign made. ALl in all, you get what you pay for and this fits the bill. THe unit leans once it is loaded, but it serves the purpose I bought it for.

This is a pretty nice little rack and tool set. It is nice and sturdy, and for the money, it's a great value... It looks great next to our wood stove and the shovel and poker are very useful. I am going to modify the other tools and make a coal rake and a hoe. So I am really happy with this set overall.
