Comments about 59" Fiberglass Hoops, Set of 12:
I was looking for a small lightweight but durable hoop system for my vegetable garden. Mainly for using a frost blanket over. These hoops were perfect, easy to use, durable and also easy to store when not in use later this year. Just what I was looking for. I intend to order more.

Just put these in the garden over some of my winter crop that were being eaten by bugs. They appear to be fairly sturdy and were easily to use and bend.

Easy to install and use. I found using hoops is much better then just laying the frost cloth over the plants for a greater extended growing season. The extra 2-3"of air gap between the plant and the frost cloth really does make a difference.

I used these in a cinder block raised bed. They work really well, and my hoop/cloth combo help up to the 30mph gusts of wind we got this weekend. But I wish they came in different lengths so I could use them in even slightly wider beds.

Hurricane Irene coming so quickly used the summerweight fabric and the fiberglass hoops to cover and protect best I can. I ran out of clips for the eggplant but here are some pics.

Comments about 59" Fiberglass Hoops, Set of 12:
My previous reviews said I hadn't used these yet. We have hurricane Irene coming (my name is Irene - fancy that). I have young fall plants in my elevated planters and, the bugs are deciding to feast so decided to put in the fiberglass hoops and put my lightweight covers back on for hurricane protection, if that's possible. The hoops are really great and with the lightweight covers on top, the planters actually look nice instead of like a clothesline when I just hung the fabric around the plants and held them to bamboo poles. Looks like a real garden out there. In any event, now my garden is set up so I can put the cool weather fabric on as temps fall and the hoops are not in the way and are neat looking.

Getting ready to use them. They are kind of large and I have the raised planters but they seem to be an okay size. I need to cover my fall garden plants and these should work fine.

I set these poles up in my garden with the shade netting over them. I have lettuce and brocolli planted there. I love them. They are very easy to move to weed if you have to. I am anxious to see how they extend the life of the plants planted there. Will use them over and over.
