Very attractive; felt is thick & not flimsy.
Wouldn't want to use these with kids, as I'm guessing the felt would shrink and/or bleed color if the placemat needed to be cleaned because of spills--
But for grown-ups who aren't messy eaters, these are a very attractive addition to the holiday table!

Very "in." I'm seeing red felt and yarn decorations in all the displays. I'm doing red this year for Christmas, and this fits right in with my felt mitten garlands, red candles holders and red-berried holly.

My only complaint is the size of the box the product was sent in. It arrived at my house in a huge box, and the product was no bigger than the length of my arm from wrist to elbow!
